उपभोक्ता मामले, खाद्य और सार्वजनिक वितरण मंत्री श्री राम विलास पासवान से
मिले।
इस
बैठक में त्रिपुरा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री बिप्लब कुमार देब ने अनुरोध किया
कि भारतीय खाद्य निगम (एफसीआई) को क्षेत्र के किसानों के हित में त्रिपुरा
में धान तथा अन्य अनाजों की खरीद का काम शुरु करना चाहिए। बैठक में यह
चर्चा की गई कि एफसीआई उत्तरी त्रिपुरा और उनोकोटी (असम के निकट)के अंदर
खरीद की संभालना तलाशेगी और भारत सरकार की नीति के अनुसार असम के पड़ोसी

की चावल मिलों में भूसी निकाले हुए धान प्राप्त कर सकती है। उन्होंने
अनुरोध किया एफसीआई द्वारा खरीद के लिए पूर्वोत्तर राज्य त्रिपुरा के लिए
विशेष नीति बनानी जानी चाहिए। श्री रामविलास पासवान ने मुख्यमंत्री को
आश्वासन दिया कि त्रिपुरा राज्य के लिए विशेष नीति का मामला केन्द्रीय
मंत्रिमंडल को भेजा जाएगा। अभी त्रिपुरा के बाहर से एफसीआई द्वारा चावल की
खरीद में काफी परिवहन और ढुलाई लागत आती है। स्थानीय खरीद से काफी बचत
होगी। राज्य में धान की वार्षिक पैदावार लगभग 12 लाख एमटी है। बाहर से
मंगाने की तुलना में स्थानीय उत्पादन से सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली की
संपूर्ण आवश्यकता (2.71 लाख एमटी) पूरी की जा सकती है।

मामलों के विभाग (डीओसीए) ने आज सभी हितधारकों के साथ उच्चस्तरीय बैठक
के दौरान दिल्ली में प्याज की कीमत एवं उपलब्धता की समीक्षा की। इस बैठक

मामलों के विभाग में सचिव श्री अविनाश के. श्रीवास्तव ने की। समीक्षा के
दौरान यह पाया गया कि अक्टूबर के मध्य में प्याज के थोक मूल्य बढ़कर
नये शिखर पर पहुंच गए थे, लेकिन
अब ये थोड़े नीचे आ गए हैं। थोक मूल्य में कमी के रुख को बनाए रखने के
लिए मूल्य स्थिरीकरण कोष (पीएसएफ) के तहत सृजित वर्तमान बफर स्टॉक से
दिल्ली में प्याज की दैनिक आपूर्ति अब और ज्यादा बढ़ाने का निर्णय लिया
गया।
बैठक के दौरान दिल्ली में प्याज के थोक एवं खुदरा मूल्यों में अंतर कम
करने के उपायों पर भी विचार-विमर्श किया गया। इस संदर्भ में दिल्ली सरकार
को वर्ष 2015 में प्याज के मूल्यों में भारी वृद्धि के दौरान उठाए गए कदम
की तर्ज पर ही इस बार भी अपने पीडीएस केन्द्रों के जरिए प्याज की
आपूर्ति करने की सलाह दी गई है। दिल्ली में प्याज की कीमतों पर करीबी नजर
रखी जाएगी और इसका दाम निरंतर बढ़ने पर दिल्ली सरकार बाजार में समुचित
कदम उठाने पर विचार करेगी। सफल/मदर डेयरी को भी अपने खुदरा विक्रय
केन्द्रों के जरिए प्याज की आपूर्ति बढ़ाने का निर्देश दिया गया। पीएसएफ
के तहत बनाए गए बफर स्टॉक से बड़ी मात्रा में प्याज इन केन्द्रों को
उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा।
बागवानी प्रभाग (डीएसीएंड एफडब्ल्यू) द्वारा यह संकेत दिया गया कि खरीफ
सीजन की प्याज फसल का रकबा अथवा बुवाई क्षेत्र वर्ष 2017 की तुलना में 37
प्रतिशत बढ़ गया है। इस अवसर पर यह भी जानकारी दी गई कि बाजार में प्याज
की आपूर्ति बढ़ गई है,
क्योंकि राजस्थान, शोलापुर (महाराष्ट्र), हुबली (कर्नाटक) और करनूल
(आंध्र प्रदेश) में नई फसल की आवक शुरू हो गई है। इससे प्याज की ज्यादा
खपत वाले क्षेत्रों में इसकी उपलब्धता बढ़ जाएगी, जिससे आने वाले दिनों
में इसकी कीमतों को नीचे लाने में मदद मिलेगी।
